The recent report from Punjab School Education Board suggests that examinations for class 5th, 10th & 12th will not be conducted anytime soon. By the looks of it, the PSEB has clearly stated that the examinations are not going to take place until they provide further notice regarding COVID19 and Social Distancing.
PSEB has also stated that they will release the new schedule some time on the Education Board’s official website – pseb.ac.in. However, students are insisted to keep on checking for the latest updates. Other than this, the board also encourages students to stay confined to their homes and keep up with their studies.
PSEB’s recent datasheet became null and void due to Coronavirus
It is quite a little while ago that the Punjab School Education Board released across the internet quite some time ago. Nevertheless, the Punjab government had increased the period of lockdown from the 14th of April 2020 to the 1st of May 2020. So far, this is the reason why the board did withdraw the decision which they took earlier.
Moreover, even before the Coronavirus fiasco in Punjab and India, the board released several dates to conduct the exam; nevertheless, the decision didn’t work out in favor of the board.
Where are the exam centers?
Given that it is not sure as to when the exams are going to be taken, but the education board revealed that there will be no changes in terms of center allocation. Also, the practical examination schedule will be releasing soon.
The board exam for students of class 8 has ended, however, practical exams are currently pending. In addition to this, the board has also declared that teachers can check the answer sheets from the comfort of their homes.
At the time of writing, 132 people have been infected by Coronavirus.
