The 21-day lockdown which was imposed in the country due to coronavirus pandemic has been extended till May 2, 2020, with some additional relaxations. The Prime Minister advised it to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The government claimed that there will no schools in this period.
The students who were waiting for their board exams have to wait more there assessments are getting interrupted by coronavirus outbreak.
MHRD And CBSE Announcement
The new date of examinations has not been shared by MHRD and CBSE boards as there are suggestions that the planks would not be conducted before this. Many countries across the globe have decided to extend the lockdown. The states have identified their hotspots and there are strict orders of social distancing.
Most of the schools and colleges in India have accepted the lockdown and decided that it might continue though there has been no confirmation regarding this. The experts are advising to find a new method to take board examinations.
CBSE 10th & 12th Examinations To Take Place In Last Week Of May
Ms. Tiwari who is a senior teacher with over 25 years of experience said that most of the significant papers of Class 12th have happened already so the Board could provide a condition promote along with a special result. The Board can take the remaining exams later and could give the students to give a chance to improve their average score.
CBSE made the last update regarding the board test on 1 April 2020. It was the time when CBSE declared the decision to take only 29 exams. The remaining exams were canceled.
