Ozark Season 4 Part 2 Updates: The pitch-black criminal series “Ozark” has become not only one of Netflix’s most popular original productions but also a critical hit, winning three Primetime Emmys (via IMDb) and being nominated for nearly a dozen more since its 2018 launch. It’s also one of the few Netflix Originals to have lasted longer than three seasons.
Despite “Ozark’s” continued popularity, it wasn’t wholly surprising when Netflix announced the show would not be renewed after Season 4, nor was it particularly surprising when Netflix revealed the show’s last season would be broken into two 14-episode.
The complete trailer for Part 1 of Season 4 of “Ozark” has been revealed, and it’s evident that things are about to get rougher, if not bloodier, for Marty Byrde (Jason Bateman) and his family. The video also revealed when fresh episodes of the series will be available on Netflix, with all seven chapters of “Ozark” Season 4, Part 1 releasing on January 21.
Fans are now wondering when they’ll be able to see the second half of the show’s last season, as predicted.
Fans of Ozark are still waiting for the series’ final episodes to release.
Unfortunately, the answer to that question is now unknown because Netflix has not stated when the final episodes of “Ozark” will be available on the service. The good news is that main photography on the season is expected to complete in October 2021. When you consider that the first seven episodes of “Ozark” Season 4 will be available on Netflix in late January, it’s reasonable to assume that the season’s post-production has gone smoothly thus far.
All About Ozark Season 4 Part 2
However, one has to believe that the “Ozark” creative staff was laser-focused on getting the initial batch of episodes right. As a result, even if Part 2 of “Ozark” Season 4 is expected to premiere later this year (via The Hollywood Reporter), it’s probable that production on the show’s final episodes is still ongoing, so there’s no way of knowing when they’ll be ready.
That may be a good thing, however, because the first batch of “Ozark” Season 4 episodes will undoubtedly leave fans with a lot to process. The program will pick up with Marty and Wendy (Laura Linney) as they strive to keep their family safe while also trying to figure out how to get out of the hole, they’ve dug themselves into with Cartel chief Omar Navarro (Felix Solis). Ruth Langmore’s (Julia Garner) new relationship with crazy, would-be drug mogul Darlene Snell (Lisa Emery) could be her undoing or salvation.
In any event, “Ozark” viewers will have to wait a little longer to find out not just how, but also when, the Netflix series concludes.
