Everyone participates in the hype around Spider-Man: No Way Home. But what’s great is that Spider-Man’s journey will continue as Peter Parker gets a fresh start. Sony has already announced that Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will be getting another trilogy, and Holland has confirmed that it will play Peter Parker’s life in college. So far, we’ve seen several well-known MCU characters appear in the 3 Spidey movies. The first had cameos from Iron Man and Captain America. The sequel brought in Nick Fury and the Skrulls. In No way home, Spidey teams up with Doctor Strange and two other Spider-Men. It is obvious that Sony and Marvel will continue this trend. So now we’re going to look at a list of superheroes that Spider-Man could team up with in the next trilogy.
It was widely believed that in addition to bringing in Tobey and Andrew’s Spider-Men, No way home would also introduce us to MCU’s Miles Morales. Well, that didn’t happen. But Morales can still be introduced in the future and become Spider-Man. Spider Man 4 could be about these two Spider-Men, with Peter from Holland guiding the new Web-Slinger!
Marvel just introduced us to MCU’s latest Avengers candidate with Shang-Chi. In the comics, he really trained Peter Parker. Also, being a martial arts expert in the MCU, the comics may just be brought to life after Spidey encounters an insanely skilled adversary that he must defeat. Or maybe these two could just be friends, because we clicked really well. Their team-up would be a joy to watch!
Being in New York, Spider-Man can regularly team up with the Fantastic Four when the Avengers Tower becomes the Baxter Building. Since director Jon Watts directs Fantastic Four, he could easily make a connection between them and Spider-Man.
If the entire Fantastic Four team can’t make an appearance in a Spider-Man movie, maybe one of them can team up with Peter. Human Torch and Spidey are good friends and they even have comedic issues with their name. So maybe their friendship could turn into something in the upcoming Spider-Man trilogy.
Seeing Deadpool and Spider-Man together on the big screen would be a dream come true. It would be funny to watch Deadpool annoy Spider-Man, or get annoyed himself as he tries to master his curses and kills in a PG-13 environment!
No way home brought Matt Murdock with a major Daredevil plague. So once Murdock dons the Daredevil suit, he and Spider-Man should definitely take on missions across New York as tag team. There is so much comic book priority available for this dynamic duo in a Spider-Man movie! Perhaps Spidey could form a Team Red with both Daredevil and Deadpool. What do you say???
Mahershala Ali’s Blade can unite with Spider-Man and take him on a haunted adventure. It could happen if Morbius somehow entered the MCU. Or maybe Spidey can take Blade on a Morbius hunting quest for the SPUMC in Spider-Man 4, 5 or 6!
Most members of the Young Avengers led by Kate Bishop are about the same age as Peter Parker. I can’t even wait to see Kate Bishop team up with Spider-Man. So maybe one or two Young Avengers can team up with Spider-Man in his movie if they don’t all fit the project.
Kamala Khan will soon be making her Disney+ debut. Given her age range, she would also make a nice addition to one of the future Spider-Man movies. They even have several comic strips to their credit. So it would be nice to bring that to the big screen.
Captain Great Britain
Like Ms. Marvel, there are also multiple comics about Captain Britain and Spider-Man. People thought Spidey and CB would team up in Far from home. But Brian Braddock will be introduced to the MCU in a few years. So maybe he can get in through the next Spider-Man movie. It’s just a thought…
I always thought Peter Parker’s team with Cap (Steve Rogers) would be great. But maybe it could happen with another Cap. Anthony Mackie and Tom Holland share a crazy joke off-screen. So, what if Marvel brought that chatter to the big screen? A rejected idea was to put Mackie’s Captain America in it Far from home. We even wondered where Spider-Man was when Sam Wilson first showed up as Captain America in New York. But now Mackie’s Cap could finally make an appearance in one of the next 3 Spider-Man movies.
Spider-Man and Ant-Man are bug buddies. So it would be nice if these insects would also unite. A real red team mission should definitely include Ant-Man, don’t you think?
We may see a Spidey-Venom clash and/or a union happening in gif 3. But No way home also left a symbiote for the MCU. So maybe the part of Venom left in the MCU can bond with Spider-Man and give us the real Black-Spidey that the last two Spider-Man movies only tease with the black suits.
Olivia Wilde would bring Jessica Drew to the big screen in the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters. Drew is a character who could be a perfect fit for Spider-Man. So maybe Spider-Man and Spider-Woman could also team up in another multiverse crossover event.
For the final entry, I’d like to suggest a Spider-Man-the Hulk bond. It could be Smart Hulk or even an angrier Hulk who could join Spider-Man on his next crusade after the events of She-Hulk. Either way, their team up would be legendary!
After seeing multiple MCU and previous Spider-Man franchise characters in the Homecoming trilogy, it will be interesting to see what other superheroes Spider-Man could team up with in his college trilogy. Which of the aforementioned characters would you like to see with Spider-Man? Let us know in the comments.
