The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers is an American Sports comedy television series based on the film with the same name that had come almost 30 years ago. This series serves as the follow-up of this 1992 movie.
As the show serves as a follow-up, the Mighty Ducks, who were once scrappy underdogs (in the movie), are now a formidable and title-winning hockey team, and that’s where the twist lies, they are now the bad guys.
Evan, who led the side, is now axed for not being good enough and upon the persuasion of his mother Alex, to build his team to beat the Ducks and show the strength of misfits at any cost and on their side do they have the former Ducks coach Gordon Bombay to give them all they need in this process.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Season 2 Release Date
Filming for the series’s first season was scheduled to begin in February of 2020 but couldn’t happen as per the plan, thanks to the pandemic. The official shooting began way later, and finally, the first season is premiered on March 26, 2021.
The first season with ten episodes runs till 28th May unless there are any surprises on the way, and we will need to wait until the first season is finished to see if the show will be renewed or not. It is renewed; we may get to see the next season in 2022.
The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers Cast
Brady Noon plays Evan and Lauren Graham as Evan’s mother Alex, and Emilio Estevez plays Gordon Bombay. With the first season still being aired, it would be an assumption to either think of the cast exits or the newer inclusions for the upcoming season.
