The King’s Man is a comedy-spy-thriller drama film and the third installment of The King’s Man film series, a British-American film Franchise.
It is based on the comic book series The Secret Service’s first graphic novel, The Secret Service. It was published in 2012 by Icon Comics and was created by Mark Millar in association with Dave Gibbons.
Two sequels of this comic book series, namely The Big Exit and The natural Diamond, were published in 2017 and 2018. However, the King’s Man, the franchise’s third installment, had already been released in theaters last year.
This part of the series has served as the prequel to the two factors released earlier. These two franchise installments performed well at Box Office and were critically acclaimed.
These two installments are ‘King’s Man: The Secret Service, released in 2014, and ‘Kingsman: The Golden Circle”, released in 2017.
The third part will focus on several events during World War I, and it will also tell the story of the foundation of a fictional spy organization, “Kingsman.”
The King’s Man Theater Release Date
The King’s Man was released on December 22, 2021, in the US, following the theatrical release in the UK on December 26, 2021. 20th Century Studios distributed it under the banner of Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.
It was initially slated to be released in November 2019, but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the release date was rescheduled for late 2021.
The King’s Man OTT Release Date
After 27 days of its theater release, the filmmakers have now decided to release the franchise’s third installment through digital streaming.
The film will have a post-theatrical OTT release on February 18, 2022, on Hulu, An American Streaming Platform. The trailer of the movie was released on June 21, 2020.

The King’s Man Box Office Collection
This film was a critically acclaimed spy thriller, but contrary to expectations, it didn’t perform well at the Box Office.
Having been made of a total budget of nearly $100 million, the film only collected a total of $95 million worldwide, due to which it faced financial loss.
