Spider-Man: No Way Home – Recap of Story so far in MCU
Many of you must not be familiar with the concept of Multi-verse. As this is going to be the first Multiverse movie of Sony and Marvel, you must be aware of the concept. The Loki Series and WanaVision on Disney have already been shown about the multi-verse concept of MCU.
The concept has been introduced and described fully in the Loki series. A sacred timeline had been introduced which had been written and managed by “He Who Remains” who is from our earth or earth 616, But earlier there were so many timelines which had been created by variants of him like Kang the Conquerer and others. And to save the sacred timeline he had created TVA or Time-Variance Authority, which were made to spoon all the variants who change the timeline and restore the sacred one.
But with the death of He Who Remains by Lady Loki and Sylvie who is also a variant of Loki, had destroyed the sacred timeline, and now the characters from other universes are coming to our Earth 616, Hence we have seen villains of other universes in our world. Like Dr. Octopus from Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man Series, Electro and Green Goblin from Sam Raimi’s Amazing Spider-Man. And our own Peter Parker aka Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will have to deal with all the villains on his own.
What could happen in Spider-Man: No Way Home?
As per the trailers the Spider-Man: No Way Home story will start from Far From Home’s Ending where Peter Parker’s real identity as Spider-Man has been revealed by the Mysterio and he will have to deal with the consequences with his friends MJ and Ned along with Aunt May. So to deal with the situation he will ask for help from our own Doctor Strange, And Doctor Strange will cast a spell to wipe everyone’s memory about Spider-Man’s real identity. And during which the portal will open because of which various villains will come to our universe from other universes.
And how the Spider-Man will stop these villains with Doctor Strange and his friends will be the story.
Are Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield confirmed as Spider-Man in the movie?
We haven’t seen any scenes of Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield in the trailer, But its sure that both will appear as Spider-Man from the other universe, who will help our Spider-man to fight against all the villains, although there will be six villains of Sinister Six in the movie but till now only five villains have appeared in the trailer, teaser and promo clips of the movie. But we assume that Vulture or Kraven the Hunter could be the last one.
In the last of the trailer we can see one hand coming towards MJ to save her when she is falling from the tower, so can assume that it’s Andrew Garfield’s Super-Man as the scene is just like the Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Is Venom in the Movie?
Venom could also be in the movie as in the end credits of Venom: Let be the Carnage we had seen Venom is now in the MCU’s universe or on Earth 616 which has been confirmed by Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland’s) news on the TV screen. So it’s possible that venom may appear in the movie too.
If you are a real fan of Spider-Man you should know all these things already but we have recapped all the things so that you can relate with Spider-Man: No Way Home.
