Manchester United fans have reacted with amusement after seeing a picture of Jesse Lingard and Cristiano Ronaldo in training on Tuesday.
United is preparing for Wednesday’s crucial Champions League match against Villarreal at Old Trafford.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are desperate for a win, having suffered defeat in three of their last four games in all competitions.
The first of those losses came against Young Boys in United’s opening Group F game two weeks’ ago when Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s red card and Lingard’s mistake helped the Swiss side win 2-1.
But while the pressure might be on, it didn’t show in United’s training session at Carrington on Tuesday when Lingard and Ronaldo were pictured enjoying themselves.
Ronaldo’s trademark SIUUUU celebration, where he tenses his muscles and spins by the corner flag, has been seen plenty of times already this season since his return from Juventus.
Lingard has scored twice this season in the Premier League, but Lingard decided to keep his JLingz celebration inside the locker after scoring the win against West Ham.
Manchester United could get back on track by beating Villarreal. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
