Karthi’s new action-thriller Kaithi/Khaidi is scheduled for release on October 25th. It is released on this Diwali weekend directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under the banner Vivekananda Pictures.
Music was composed by Sam C. S, Philomin Raj handled the editing rights and Sathyan Sooryan managed the cinematography works. Director has kept good expectations on the film, Actor Karthi has given a solid performance, Karthi will be seen as a prisoner in the film. He will be escaped from jail. Most of the film is shot in a night backdrop. There is no female lead in the movie.

The story revolves around the sequences that happened in 48 hours span. There is no single song in the movie. Narain who is popular for Chitiram Pesuthadi playing an interesting role in the movie.
Actor Karthi will be seen fighting in the entire film. So we can say it is a complete action film from the beginning to the end. Karthi introduces an adventure character in the film. Also, George Marine and Narayan have equal importance. Fans will definitely like this film it will be an action feast to them.
After the escape from the prison, Karthi is forced to join with injured cop Bejoy to fight with evil Arjun Das and Ramana who are planning a drug transport. Will Karthi become successful with his attempt, Is he still not able to meet his 10 years old daughter forms the crux part of the story.
Karthi impressed with his performance, This action thriller fetched U/A certificate from the censor board for 2 hours and 25 minutes drama. As the content is good, Storyline is really interesting for which makers were pretty sure about the hit of the movie.
