Vogue Magazine’s editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour, who has chaired the Met Gala since 1995, reportedly thinks Khloe is “too C-list” for the event, per The Sun. Kourtney, who is dating Blink 182’s Travis Barker, was supposedly invited to this year’s gala, but turned it down in a show of solidarity with her sister, per Radar Online. Prior to the chatter surrounding her absence from the event, the “Revenge Body” star opened up about the hard time she’s been going through.
She posted on Twitter, August 2, in response to twitterers who questioned her about her relationship to Tristan Thompson, a NBA player. Thompson is also True’s father. “It’s pathetic but also infuriating all at the same time. People coming at me as if they know anything. GTFOH,” the former DASH owner tweeted. “It is so old at this point. It’s always something about people creating fake sh*t about me and actually terrorizing me about something THEY ARE CREATING. Without anyone knowing any facts,” she wrote two minutes after the first tweet.
Khloe wrote an emotional message to her Instagram Story after the Met Gala. “At some point, you decide. You decide that this is where you are rooted. You make the decision to be happy right where you are,” she wrote, per The Sun. She encouraged others to be happy in the moment. Khloe seems to be at peace with her current circumstances.
