Cristiano Ronaldo bagged a 95th-minute winner for Manchester United against Villarreal on Wednesday night – and celebrated by flaunting his immaculate physique.
United put up a strong fight to win their first Champions League victory of the season at Old Trafford. They had been a goal behind after Paco Alcacer’s goal eight minutes later.
Although they only managed to score a goal in seven minutes, Alex Telles struck a spectacular volley from just outside the area.
Just as it appeared that the sides would settle for a draw of 1-1, Ronaldo grabbed a loose ball from the box and won the match 2-1 in the final minute.
The Portugal superstar whipped off his shirt in jubilation as Old Trafford erupted, showing off his remarkable physique just four months shy of his 37th birthday.
It was exactly what United wanted after bringing him back, and it gave Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the much-needed win.

“Ole Gunnar really got his subs right, subs that could affect the game they pushed on, the crowd was up for it and Cristiano rises to the occasion,” He spoke on BT Sport.

“David de Gea made some huge saves to keep them in it. This team Villarreal try to play even till the end, they were looking for the goal.
“The energy from [Edinson] Cavani was so important and the crowd believed there was a goal there and you could just feel it. Cross from Fred stands it up, great from Jesse [Lingard] gets a little touch and you know who’s going to score that.”
Michael Owen then added: “I thought Cristiano Ronaldo was going to take a step back and bring it down on his chest, he heads it down to Jesse and gets it back and the rest is history, what a finish.
“Villarreal probably deserved something on the balance of play but the more and more longer the game went the more you fancied Man United and I was impressed with their energy.”
