Amanda Owen ‘so excited to be back’ as Our Yorkshire Farm returns to Channel 5

Amanda Owen has admitted her excitement ahead of the new series of Our Yorkshire Farm.

Before the show’s first episode, the famous shepherdess shared a teaser on Twitter.

Amanda, 47 years old, couldn’t contain her excitement as she shared the trailer to fans on the social networking site.

She posted: “I have so much catching up to do. It’s all been happening. But firstly and most importantly I must announce that there’s a new series of Our Yorkshire Farm starting next week on Channel 5. #yorkshire #OurYorkshireFarm #channel5.”

She then shared a tweet from Channel 5 containing the clip teasing the first episode, which is due to hit our screens in a week.

It read: “New adventures await. All new Our Yorkshire Farm starts Tuesday 5th October on @channel5_tv. Stream the series boxset on My5 #OurYorkshireFarm @AmandaOwen8.”

Amanda appears to be taking things in her stride despite juggling being a mum of nine with managing her 2000 acre farm home Ravenseat, which comes complete with a flock of over 1000 sheep.

Meanwhile, her stepdaughter Rosie has recently admitted that she “can’t watch” her dad’s hit TV show because it is too painful for her.

Rosie, her brother, and her mum moved out of Ravenseat when she was just nine years old after her parents “fell out of love.”

Clive then went on to marry Amanda in 2000 when she was just 21 years old – half of his age at the time.

Clive and Amanda later moved to the farm where they raised their nine kids together.

Rosie feels like she has lost her childhood and doesn’t belong back in the house where she grew up.

She said: “My childhood home has been completely taken away from me.

“I attempted to watch the show the first few times but I lasted about five minutes and ended up in tears.

Rosie continued: “It breaks my heart because it is like watching a past that I haven’t been in for years.”

Our Yorkshire Farm returns on Tuesday, October 5 at 9 pm on Channel 5.
