Her family confirmed that a student was shot in the head by school security officers and that she is unlikely to survive.
Mona Rodriguez (18-year-old mother to one) is currently on Life Support after a bullet struck the back of her head as she was driving from Millikan High in California.
According to reports, Ms Rodriguez was fighting with a girl 15 years old near the school when she got in a car with Rafeul Chowdhury, her brother and father of her child.
Police said that the victim was fatally shot by her teenage mother as she fled the scene. KTLA.
Rafeul Chowdhury (20), and her brother Rafeul Chowdhury (16 years old) are currently under investigation for their possible involvement in the incident.
The news outlet obtained video footage that shows the officer firing two shots at his car as it speeds towards him in the parking lot.
Mr Chowhury asserts that the officer had threatened the two fighting girls using pepper spray, which caused them both to stop.
He said that the officer never threatened to open fire on his weapon.
Chowdhury stated these words to KTLA: “All we did is just got in the car and left.
“He never told us to stop anytime soon, and the way he shot us, it wasn’t right.”
The safety officer has been removed from the high school while an investigation is ongoing.

Najee Ali, a civil rights activist, spoke outside the school with Mona Rodriguez’s family.
She claimed that the officer “shot someone in the passenger seat with no regard for anyone’s life in the car”And it should be noted that “everyone in the car was unarmed”.
Jill Baker, Long Beach Public Schools Superintendent, stated that the safety officers were “highly trained”The officer has vowed to keep his word. “held accountable to the established standards in their profession”.
