Lupin is a French show. It is a mystery thriller created by George Kay and François Uzan on Netflix on 8 January 2021. The series has ten episodes, with the first five released in January 2021 and the remainder on 11 June 2021.

The show leads Omar Sy, who plays the role of Assane Diop, a man who is moved by the journeys of master thief Arsène Lupin, a character created by Maurice Leblancin in the initial time 1900s.

In a bit of time, this series became one of the most-watched shows and gained popularity.

What is the Show About? 

The show tells the story of an expert thief Assane Diop, who is the only son of a settler from Senegal who had come to France to have a better life for his child. Assane’s father is framed for the robbery of a costly diamond necklace by his boss, the wealthy and powerful Hubert Pellegrini, and hangs himself in his prison cell because of shame. In the meantime, he also leaves his teenage child as an orphan.

Twenty-five years later, Assane plans to take revenge on the Pellegrini family, using his charm and the skills of thievery, trick, and disguise to expose Hubert’s crimes. For this act, he derives inspiration from a book that was gifted to him by his father.
