Bollywood star Akki, known for his realistic roles, is again geared up to shock the audience with a new avatar in the spy-thriller. Although there are no announcements about the film’s release, recently, co-producer Nikhil Advani passed a glimpse in his interview. After the pandemic, the film industry has passed through a storm of change.
Due to the restrictions in theatrical releases, the makers launched the big-budget movies across the OTTs. And following the trend, it seems, Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film is next in the sequence. Although the makers initially planned a theatrical release, the second wave of covid is most likely to alter their decisions. Earlier, the movie was scheduled to land in the cinema halls on May 28. However, the makers postponed the release.
Nikhil Advani, in his recent interview, quoted that Bell Bottom’s OTT release is being considered. However, the final decision for monetization lies in the hands of Pooja Entertainment.
Bell Bottom OTT Release Date
The OTTP war between the big streaming giants, like Amazon Prime and Disney Hotstar, is getting more intense to bag Bell Bottom. Initially, Amazon Prime tried to grab the digital rights with 125 crores. However, as per reports, the marker was expecting more.
Now, hot news pops up that Disney Hotstar has joined the race with an incredible offer of 170 crores. However, it has not been finalized by the producers. But if everything goes well, Hotstar will most probably bag the rights of Bell Bottom.
