Sports video games we would like to play

Sports video games are always a blast to play. They allow us to experience the thrill of being right in the middle of the action, without ever having to leave the comfort of our homes.

There are all sorts of sports video games out there these days, but we have a few specific ones that we would love to see made. Unfortunately, while all of the mainstream sports have each had a game specifically made allowing gamers to enjoy them, there are certain sports that have not yet been provided with the same treatment as of yet.

Indeed, we know that there are a variety of different games that cover sports including football/soccer, American football, basketball, and many of the other biggest sports in the world. Additionally, we have also seen a number of different games being produced for some of the biggest casino favorites, too. For instance, there are titles that can be played before heading to a site like https://www.australiainternetpokies.com/real-money/ that can provide you with the opportunity to turn that fun into a potentially lucrative experience, while we have see an emergence of classic casino games like poker and roulette appear, too.

In this blog post, we will discuss a number of different sports video games that we would love to see developed in the near future! Each of the sports highlighted is growing in popularity within certain regions, and if developers were to create games, they might be able to benefit further as they could reach a wider audience.

Handball

One of the sports video games that we would love to see made is a handball game. Handball is a hugely popular sport in Europe, and it has been slowly gaining popularity in other parts of the world as well.

A handball video game would be extremely exciting to play, as it is a very fast-paced and action-packed sport. It would also be interesting to see how developers would choose to represent the unique rules of the sport within the game, however it is likely that they would be able to achieve this without too much complexity given the fact that they have been able to produce other games that feature rule-heavy sports.

Lacrosse

One sport that we would love to see made into a video game is lacrosse. Lacrosse is a fast-paced and physically demanding sport that is growing in popularity, particularly in the United States.

A lacrosse video game would be an excellent addition to the sports gaming genre, as it would offer gamers a unique and challenging experience. It would also be great to see how developers would choose to represent the different aspects of the sport, such as stick skills and team play.

Curling

Another sport that we feel deserves its own video game is curling. Curling is often considered to be a bit of an outsider sport, but it is actually quite popular in many countries around the world.

A curling video game would be a lot of fun, as it is a very strategic and tactical sport. It would certainly be very interesting to see how the developers would look to tackle this game, given the rules and complexities of the sport, however there would be no real shock if they were to manage to overcome this in an effective manner.

Sumo Wrestling

We would love to see a sumo wrestling video game made. Sumo wrestling is a centuries-old sport that is hugely popular in Japan, however it is known around the world and many have had their own “contests” when competing with friends and family. The Olympic Games have helped to expose the sport to a number of enthusiasts, so there is every chance that a game of this sport could be a relative success.

A sumo wrestling video game would be an excellent addition to the sports gaming genre, as it would offer gamers a unique and challenging experience. With aspects such as the ceremonial elements and the physicality of the sport, there is a lot that developers could look to try and do in regard to the gameplay of the title if they were to make it.

Table Tennis

The last sport that we would love to see made into a video game is table tennis. Table tennis is an extremely popular sport, but it has yet to receive its own dedicated video game.

A table tennis video game would be extremely exciting to play, as it is a very fast-paced and action-packed sport. It would also be interesting to see how developers would choose to represent the unique rules of the sport within the game.

Final Thoughts

So, there you have it! These are just five different sports that we would like to see have a video game be made playable in the future! Hopefully, a developer will look to try and make one and give us the opportunity to do so!
