Kannada films have always surprised their audience with the variety of topics and the deep level understanding of the film’s subject.
Yuvarathnaa, which means youth icon, is a dramatic action flick that, like its name, has the grit and energy of the juvenile adolescents.
The film was produced under the banner of Hombale productions, and it has been executed under the direction of Santosh Anand ram.
OTT Release Date and Reception:
Since filmmaking is a tedious job that requires shooting the film, but many post-production formalities are pending, the producers were also all ears for an OTT release; however, nothing can be said with confirmation.
With the digital medium of entertainment taking up in India, the film-makers were eager to distribute their satellite rights and movie rights to the OTT platforms.
Since the movie’s subject is quite a preachy band can withhold a special connection with the audience, the creators wanted the majority to take something from the film, and that seemed relatively easy via OTT platforms, as they are cheap, affordable, and mobile alternative about the traditional multiplex movie-watching.
However, which platform the Yuvarathnaa crew has chosen and which satellite bagged the rights is yet unknown. Also, the release date on OTT platforms isn’t yet confirmed.
The trailer crossed millions of views in a fraction of a day, with fans praising the film’s crux, the corruption rampant in educational institutions, and remedial action for it.
Release on Big Screens:
The movie released on 1st April 2021 lingua franca has been Kannada and Telugu. The film was released in the United States of America on 31st March 2021.
Originally intended to be released on the memorable occasion of Dussehra on 7th October 2019, it kept on getting delayed till January 2020, that’s when the covid-19 hit India in its most effective form, and the movie again got postponed.
