The YSR Aarogyasri scheme was typically launched by the Chief Minister in the state of Andhra Pradesh in 2017. This scheme had widely produced financial funds for the people of the state with mainly poor sections and the ones below the poverty line. By implementing the scheme, there were benefits provided for all beneficiaries in the state of Andhra Pradesh and one such benefit was the cashless treatment in the state of Andhra Pradesh by government hospitals.

The Aarogyasri Health Scheme Update

As explained above, the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme had been launched in the year 2017 by the State of Andhra Pradesh. A new version of the YSR Aarogyasri Scheme has been updated in the year 2020 by the current Chief Minister, Mr. YSR Jagan Mohan Reddy, of the same state. Various diseases were added to the scheme later on after the new initiative was taken up. This led to the smooth functioning of the scheme in medical hospitals in Andhra Pradesh. On 3rd January 2020, the new revamp was launched at 10:00 am for the common public. 

Basic changes in Arogyasri Scheme

As explained earlier, the revamp of the scheme was launched by some of the concerned authorities in the state of Andra Pradesh. The involvement of hospitals through the use of beneficiaries can easily get the overall scheme benefits. The YSR scheme allows the citizens of Andra Pradesh to avail all the benefits of the government hospital in Bengaluru and the state of Hyderabad. For those patients who have a medical bill of Rs. 1000 and above can now gain medical assistance. If more than 2000 diseases are included in a day and development of health centers are included in the scheme. 

Eligibility Criteria 

To avail of the benefits from the Arogyasri scheme, one needs to follow and maintain the below-given criteria for the year 2021.

  • The applicant for the scheme must have only 35 acres of land inclusive of dry and wetland.
  • The applicant for the scheme should also follow a tax-paying rate of fewer than 3000 SQ FT (334sq. Yds) for each family who is the taxpayer. 
  • A 5 lac annual income of an employee who has a part-time source along with contract and outsourcing are eligible for this criteria. 
  • The applicant can work in a private sector and it must also have an honorary remuneration process where it is a public sector. 
  • Applicants who have more than one car, are not eligible for the scheme. 
  • For all the families who are filing an income tax of Rs. 5,00,000 are eligible for this criteria. 

Download the Aarogyasri Card by Using the Procedures

  • The applicant needs to visit the nearest Meeseva center if they wish to get the Aarogyasri health card. 

  • Once we have received the Meeseva agent password and login ID,  you can now get a health card. 
  • Now, you need to submit the information along with various are the required documents to the Meeseva Centre agent for availing of the health card. 
  • After you have submitted all the information to the Meeseva Centre you can now apply for your health card. 
  • Once the center has received all your information and has registered successfully, now you will receive a registration acknowledgment along with a slip for you to keep for further use. 
  • Once you have successfully applied for your Aarogyasri card from the center,  you will receive the card within 15 days itself.

How to apply for the Arogyasri card scheme? 

Online Method of application

  • First, you need to log into the Navasakam portal or the ward of the Grama Sachivalayam portal. 
  • Now you need to check the opened page and from that page, you will be getting the login option. 

  • For the registration process, one needs to click the website and check the Aarogyasri health card application form,  in order to get the next process of registration. 
  • After you have logged into the Aarogyasri health card you can enter the required information that is asked to you by the website in the application form. 
  • With entering the information you can also upload the necessary documents. 
  • After you have submitted the application form, take out a printout of it carefully, for further reference. 

Offline Method of application

  • In the application process, one needs to enter the Navasakam portal or the Grama ward Sachivalayam portal for taking the process forward.
  • Once the page is opened you need to click on the download button. 
  • Now, visit the YSR Aarogyasri health card proforma.  This option is available for download. 
  •  after you have downloaded the proforma,  you will be told to click on the link that is available below it.
  • Enter the required information in the application form.
  • If there are any additional documents that need to be attached,  kindly attach them. 
  • Now click on the submit option for the application form.

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of Navasakam, to add a member. They can also visit the Grama ward Sachivalayam portal for the same. 
  • After you have opened the page of the website portal, you can click on the login option. 
  • Now, click on the online application link from the Add/Edit/Delete a member option. 
  • Give all the necessary information that is required for the application form. 
  • If asked, you can attach the required documents with it. 
  • Now, submit the files up the application form and keep a reference by taking out its printout for the future. 

Offline method to add a member

  • Visit the official website of Gramaward Sachivalayam or Navasakam for adding a member. 
  • Once the page is opened, you need to click on the download option.
