While the death toll has increased to 25, 87 patients have been discharged across the country. After Italy, Spain, China, Iran and France, US ranked sixth in the number of deaths.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Spain reported over 800 deaths and over 8,000 new cases. In the US, the number of confirmed deaths due to coronavirus got doubled in just two days, with more than 2,000 deaths.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<section>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>In the period of 24-hour which ended on Saturday evening, Italy reported 889 deaths compared to 969 on Friday. The every day rise in new cases was just under 6,000, about the same as the previous day\u2019s figure.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>China reported 5 deaths and 45 new confirmed cases in the 24 hours through midnight Saturday.
