In 2001, Charles Ingram went to the most famous game show, “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire,” after seeing the success of her wife and brother-in-law on the show; he came to the show after having practiced with his invention, the fastest finger first button. After entering the show, he quickly managed to go opposite chair of Chris Tarrant to win a significant amount of money. In the first episode, Charles struggled with some questions and used two of his three lifelines to get £4000.
While on the second day, he cleared his way to the 1 million euro jackpot. However, the host, Chris Tarrant, was highly impressed by him. But when the footage was rewatched, the producers returned. They noticed that Tecwen has coughed after each correct answer during the show. When it was completed, there was one question that Charles didn’t know the answer to; at that time, Tecwen remained silent, while his wife also cleared her throat when the correct answer was mentioned, which clearly showed that they were cheating.
