Both Kaley Cuoco and Karl Cook have filed their respective divorce papers — Cuoco filed first. E! News reports that Cook has since filed a response, and has listed “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce. He also listed their date of separation as “TBD.” According to Us Weekly, neither Cuoco nor Cook are asking for spousal support, and both will be paying their own legal fees. There was one specific request that Cook made, however; he’s asked for Cuoco to return “miscellaneous jewelry and other personal effects” as well as “earnings and accumulations,” the outlet reported.
Page Six previously reported that Cuoco and Cook had an “ironclad” prenuptial agreement. “Her assets are protected,” A source confirmed that the outlet had been informed. Of course, this would mean that Cook’s assets — as the TurboTax heir — were also protected. “There are additional separate property assets and obligations of each party as mandated by the parties’ Premarital Agreement,” E! read Cook’s court papers. News. According to the outlet, Cook’s documents seem to indicate that he will follow the prenup and not challenge it. He requested that any “communal property” be “divided” based on “the terms” of that agreement.
