One of the renowned actors of the Pakistani Film Industry, Rasheed Naz, passed away peacefully recently in Islamabad. The unpleasant event occurred on 17 January 2022, Monday in the morning. At the time of his death, he was admitted to a hospital in Islamabad due to his critical health condition, for which he had been receiving treatment at the hospital. This awful news has been confirmed by his son named Hassan Noman, who said that his father passed away at the age of 83 in Islamabad due to prolonged illness.

Naz’s son Hasan Noman also shared that the renowned actor was suffering from several health complications, but the prominent cause of his death is still unclear. With Hasan, Rasheed’s daughter named Madiha Rizvi also confirmed this displeasing news through her Instagram account. Her daughter-in-law also shared a throwback picture of the veteran actor with a sad caption that reads, “Our favorite Baba Rashid Naz has left this world peacefully this morning. Please recite Surah Fateha for the departed soul.” According to the reports, the mortal remains of the Rasheed moved to Peshawar for final rites will be performed today on Monday.

All the significant actors of the Pakistan entertainment industry are sending their deep condolence to the family members of Rasheed. Along with that, entire Pakistan is paying heart felting tribute to the most reputed actor of the country. Some other vital faces of the country also condole the family members through various Social Media platforms. The actor also featured in a Bollywood shared screen and Akshay Kumar and Tapsee Pannu, and Danny Denzongpa in the movie Baby released in 2015. Apart from that, he featured in numerous Pakistani movies and serials.

Rasheed Naz was born on 9 September 1948 in Peshawar, now Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He debuted his career in the entertainment industry in 1971 in Pushto television play. He then appeared in many other Pashto, Hindko, and Urdu language sports. Naz’s first Urdu play titled Aik Tha Gaoon arrived in 1973.

In 1988 he was featured in the first Pashto film Zama Jang, translated as Meri Jung in Urdu. His first Urdu film was Dakait. Along with time, he gained much fame, and as of now, he is considered one of the legendary actors of all time.
