The upcoming Marvel movie, Thor: love and thunder recruited Spider-Man: No Way Home composer Michael Giacchino to score the film.
The Thor franchise has grown into one of the most enduring solo film franchises of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. While both Iron Man by Robert Downy Jr. as Chris Evans’ Captain America ended their third film, Chris Hemsworth’s Thor shows no signs of slowing down. The fourth film was officially announced at the 2019 San Diego Comic-Con and the actor has stated that he is willing to continue playing the part as long as they have it. But now, the new Marvel movie adds a new member to his list.
Earlier today, the batter composer Michael Giacchino confirmed he would do the music for Thor: love and thunder. The composer has a long history in the industry and has scored several Marvel movies in the past, including: Doctor Strange and the Tom Holland Spider Man movies. All details about the film’s plot are currently under lock and key. Marvel Studios film is said to be partly based on Jason Aaron’s Mighty Thor comic book run, with Jane Foster becoming the new Thor. Christian Bale is reportedly playing the film’s main antagonist, who is reportedly another Jason Aaron character, Gorr The God Butcher.
Directed by Taika Waititi from a script he co-wrote with Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, love and thunder starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, Christian Bale, Jaimie Alexander, Chris Pratt, Pom Klementieff, Dave Bautista, Karen Gillan, Sean Gunn and Jeff Goldblum. Matt Damon, Sam Neill, Luke Hemsworth, Melissa McCarthy, Ben Falcone and Russell Crowe are also on board.
