The Family Man had grabbed the hearts of millions when it first aired back in 2019. The advertisement for the show itself was attractive, and consequently, the show did not disappoint. The well-written plot imbued with mystery and high stakes have made this espionage thriller popular among the gentry. Add Manoj Bajpayee’s excellent acting skills to the mix, and you have a great show to binge on Saturday nights.
But as always, when people get their hands on a good show, they want more of it. And same was the case for The Family Man. Once season 1 ended, the die-hard fans of the show already wanted to know about season 2.
Surprisingly unlike many other popular shows, the series’s creators did not keep their fans in the darkness. They announced pretty soon that season 2 is already in the making, but nothing was mentioned about the release date.
Delay over the release date
By the end of 2020, multiple sources found out that the filming of season 2 was already over in September 2020. Also, the release date was fixed for February 12, 2021. But as bad luck would have it, the pandemic, along with the government’s new rules and restrictions regarding content on OTT platforms like Amazon Prime Video and others, delayed the release.

However, after some considerations, new speculations report that season 2 of the show is most likely to come out in May this year. Yes, the wait is almost over. But officially, no date has been confirmed yet.
All that the show’s makers said was that they are very eager to release the show and present it to their fans as they are happy with what they have created. And said it would be released in ‘the summer of 2021’.
