The Amazon Prime series, ‘The Family Man,’ which won hearts for its unique storyline and excellent execution, attention to detail, is all set to bring an all-new season. What made it enthralling was its surprisingly funny plot with immediate comic reliefs with high-class humor. On 28 November 2019, the movie makers announced a sophomore, immediately followed by shooting for the same. The Covid situation made it almost impossible for the makers to wrap it up in 2020; however, the shooting was resumed in July 2020.
The season Season was finally wrapped up in September 2020, and the whole of the making had a final closure in October. The much-awaited season will finally be released in the second quarter of 2021. The post-production works took more than four months to finish, thus pushing the season’s initial release from late 2020 to 2021; much of the delay was also because of the COVID-19 situation in India. A teaser motion poster was revealed on 20 September 2020, when the makers announced the release date to be 12 February 2021. The second poster was further released on 13 January 2021.
The Cast and Outline:
The plot of the series comprises a satirical comedy based on the life of a common middle-class man, Srikant Tiwari, who has a big secret and is living a double life. The man is working as an intelligence officer for the Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell(TASC), a fictional crime reporting branch of the National Investigating Agency.

The fans were impressed with the first season and were utterly mesmerized by the performance of Manoj Bajpayee, who is undoubtedly a gem of an actor. However, what has made the wait more worthy is that this season would be featuring the beautiful actress Samantha Akkineni, which will also be her first digital appearance. The season will also be starring Priyamani, Seema Biswas, Sharib Hashmi, Darshan Kumar, Sharad Kelkar, Shahab Ali, Shreya Dhanwantary, Sunny Hinduja, Mehak Thakur, and Vedant Sinha.
The Family Man Season 2 Plot Details:
Some rumors spread the news regarding the season’s cancellation since it was being delayed repeatedly; however, regarding the postponement and delay amongst such rumors, Manoj Bajpayee rubbished the false news and assured his fans of a release soon. How can one deny the excitement there has been regarding the second season? Even the critics rated it 4-5 stars on an average, citing it as a ‘mastery over the craft of storytelling.
