Adapted from the comic book series of the same name the first season of the series was released in 2019. The second season which was released on Amazon Prime last year ended on a pretty thrilling note leaving the audience in intrigue with many unanswered questions, answers to which are likely to be answered in the next season. To the audience’s much excitement the filming has already begun.

The mastermind of the show, Eric Kripke, shared the first picture from behind-the-scenes on the sets of season 3, with the fans. He also tweeted the illustrative posters of Homelander and Queen Maeve on March 19, 2021, along with the hashtags #VoughtPSA #TheMoreYouKnow and #TheBoys.

The Boys Season 3 Release Date: When To Expect?

The release date has not been declared yet, but if we observe their pattern that shows a gap of 9 months between the filming and release (season 1) and an interval of 10 months between the two process (season 2), the audience can expect the season 3 to release either in late 2021 or in early 2022.

The Boys Season 3 Cast: Who All Are Gonna Be There?

There is no surety of who all are returning nor is there any official announcement regarding it, but some of them like Butcher (Urban), Hughie (Quaid), Frenchie (Capon), Mother’s Milk (Alonso) and, Kimiko (Fukuhara) are expected to be back. Along with these Homelander, Maeve, Starlight, A-Train, Black Noir completing The Seven are likely to be back too.

The makers released the trailer of the second season roughly some six weeks after the filming wrapped up, in early December 2019. Looking at this the fans and audience can expect the trailer to be out in mid-2021 or even late 2021, for their spectacle.
