The first-ever trailer of the courtroom drama Section 375 has come into being. After the trailer was released over the video streaming platform, YouTube, the video has intrigued the audience. Moreover, the courtroom drama features Akshaye Khanna and Richa Chadha in significant roles.
On the other hand, the movie is entirely based on the inception of the new Indian Penal Code, Section 375. According to sources, the forthcoming courtroom drama is based on a real-life incident that created quite a massive amount of controversy around the country. The movie is also going to provide an insight as to why Section 375 came into being.
The director and an additional cast of Section 37
Ajay Bahl helms the role of the director of the movie who has created the film keeping the real-life incidents intact. In addition to this, the film also features Meera Chopra in an additional yet groundbreaking role. Meera Chopra will feature the role of Anjali Vasudev Dangle. By the looks of it, Ms. Dangle is an assistant junior costume designer in the film industry.
The movie also stars Rahul Bhat as an additional cast member along with Shriswara, Sandhya Mridul, Zakir Hussain, Atul Kulkarni. Manish Gupta is the writer of the movie whereas Abhishek Pathak, Kumar Mangat Pathak and SCIPL are the core producers of the film.
The trailer has created quite a stir in the country
The first trailer of the movie is around a couple and a half minutes long. The trailer begins with Meera giving a head-up regarding the sexual harassment case. In the trailer Meera is seen accusing Rohan Ravi Khurana, a character played by actor Rahul Bhal.
In the trailer, Anjali is seen to garner some pretty harsh questions from the opposition lawyer concerning the assault. Richa Chadha represents Anjali’s stance in the courtroom drama, whereas Akshaye Khanna represents Rahul Bhal. The movie will hit the theaters on the 13th of September 2019.
