All those waiting for the result of the Junior Engineer Recruitment exam would have to wait for some time as the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are still mum about the result date of the exam. Apart from that, RRBs have given no report about the further recruitment process.
While the Junior Engineer recruitment for Indian Railways in the last recruitment drives of 2018, its application process started quite early in 2019. The RRB JE first stage CBT took place on May 22, 2019, onwards and was of 90 minutes with a total of 100 questions. Along with that, its final answer key was released on July 25, 2019, and was available to download till the 27th.
With the help of the answer key, the candidates could find out their raw scores. However, they must know that the raw scores are not the final scores and will be normalized according to the formula released by the Railway Recruitment Boards earlier. You can expect the result this week.
When it comes to the 2nd CBT, the qualification stature of all candidates will be determined on the basis of the normalized scores. The Railway Recruitment Board Junior Engineer result will be revealed soon as the RRBs have scheduled the 2nd CBT exam in the last week of August or in the first week of September. Unfortunately, this doesn’t give them any or much time to give out the shortlist, exam city details, mock test links, and admit cards.
The RRB JE 2nd stage CBT will be including 150 questions and the time available to the candidates to give the exams would be 120 minutes or 2 hours. These questions will be of objective type with multiple choices. The topics that these questions shall cover are General Awareness, Physics and Chemistry, Basics of Computers and Applications, Basics of Environment and Pollution Control and Technical abilities for the post.
