Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise took a massive opening on December 17 and continues to set the box office on fire for the second day as well. Pushpa has raked in over Rs 100 crore at the box office worldwide and is still going strong within two days. However, Sukumar’s film is expected to hold steady for at least a week before Christmas releases take over.
PUSHPA MINTS RS 100 CRORE IN JUST TWO DAYS
Pushpa: The Rise got a pan-India release in five languages on December 17. The film will be made in two parts, is based on the lives of red sandalwood smugglers of the Seshachalam region in Andhra Pradesh.
On its second day, Pushpa: The Rise has crossed the Rs 100 crore mark across the globe. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share the same. He wrote, “#Pushpa has crossed Rs 100 Crs Gross at the WW Box office in 2 days (sic).”

Ramesh also pointed out that Pushpa has a great run at the box office in the USA. According to his tweet, the film has collected 1.30 million USD (Rs 9 crore approx) in the country.
Pushpa could have collected more if it had been released in many other foreign locations. THowever, trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan revealed that the film did not release in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and South Africa, among other countries, because the overseas business has been affected.
MIXED REVIEWS FOR PUSHPA: THE RISE
Pushpa features Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in lead roles. The film received mixed reviews from the critics and the audience. The second part, Pushpa: The Rule, will hit the theatres sometime later next year. Soon, the makers will share an update regarding the same.
