When it comes to Prassthanam and Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas the films are in neck to neck competition with each other. Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass is the debut film of Sahher Bambba and Karan Deol which Sunny Deol is directing. On its opening day, the Sunny Deal directorial film did manage to outperform the political drama, namely, Prassthanam. Nevertheless, after five days, the films did begin to amass a similar box-office collection across the country.
The estimation reports suggest that Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas did earn around ₹1.1-1.2 Crores in the box-office. In the second day, the film did earn around ₹1.55 Crores and on Sunday the film amassed ₹1.85 Crores. In the first week, the film did a decent business.

On Monday,4th-day; and Tuesday 5th day: The film did make around ₹90 Lakhs and ₹ 65 Lakhs on Tuesday.
On Wednesday, 6th Day: The early expectations suggests that on the 6th day the film did earn around ₹50 Lakh in the box-office.
Prassthanam, on the other hand, was not a glorious film. The film did have an ensemble star cast yet in term of box-office collectin the film is lagging behind significantly. Prassthanam stars Jackie Shroff, Manisha Koirala, Amyra Dastur, Chunkey Panday, Satyajeet Dubey, Ali Faizal and Sanjay Dutt in lead roles.
On its opening day, the film did collection around ₹ 75-80 Lakhs. On Saturday and Sunday, the film did make around ₹80 lakhs and ₹1.25 crores respectively.
Second-week box-office collection of Prassthanam:
On Monday, 4th day; and Tuesday 5th day: On Monday, Prassthanam the film made ₹90 Lakhs and on Tuesday the film did make around ₹70 lakhs.
On Wednesday, 6th Day: The early expectations suggests that the film did collect around Rs 60 lakhs in the box-office.
