May 2022 marks the last month that PlayStation Plus will stay in its current form, as the new iteration of the service is releasing in June for most territories. Regardless, Sony has revealed the lineup, which includes FIFA 22, Curse of the Dead Gods, and Tribes of Midgard. These games will be available from May 3 to June 6.
FIFA 22 needs no introduction, as it is the most recent soccer game in the long-running sports series. It’ll also include a bonus FUT pack for those who want to get into FIFA Ultimate Team (those who already own FIFA 22 can also download the pack, too). The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions should be available for download.
Tribes of Midgard will also have its PS4 and PS5 versions up for download. This 2021 title is an action survival RPG that scored relatively well, garnering an average score of 75. It has been compared to Diablo, but drenched in Norse mythology. Tribes of Midgard is also one of the few games that will more properly support VRR, as Sony just announced.
Curse of the Dead Gods is the most well-received game on the list — averaging a score of 81 — and is also the only PS4-only game of the three. It’s a roguelite somewhat in the vein of Hades and Dead Cells. Those similarities even extend to how all three spent an extended amount of time in early access. Curse of the Dead Gods even had a Dead Cells crossover in April 2021.
As noted by Video Games Chronicle, this lineup was once again leaked by Dealabs user billbil-kun, who has been stunning accurate in most of their PlayStation Plus leaks for quite some time.
