The announcement from Starz in May 2018 for coming up with two more seasons (season 5 and season 6) brought smiles to the face of Outlander lovers. But, the delay in filming of Season 6 due to the COVID-19 pandemic left viewers in anticipation.
The term – ‘Draughtlander’ became famous for this delay in releasing the new season. Last season’s extremely nail-biting and roller-coaster ride left people guessing in this exciting time travel interesting saga. All eyes are now on the next season.
In 2020, Actor Sam Heughan had affirmed working on Season 6 even before season 5. Also, in February actor tweeted about getting back to the sets with all COVID-19 precautions.

Outlander Season 6: Release Date
Though the premiere date hasn’t been shared or announced officially yet, season 6 won’t be available for watchers as of late 2021. This is due to unavoidable circumstances due to COVID-19 Pandemic. Once the season airs, you will be able to watch the Starz show on Amazon Prime.
