A new report from TV Time provides an insight into Binge-watching report this week. According to the report, the streaming giant is having its best time as it took the top four spots in the Binge Report. First, it was Money Heist, which dethroned Stranger Things. However, now the pretty yet the dangerous ladies of Orange Is the New Black has taken over the top spot.
The Binge report suggests that Netflix shows have filled up the top-four spot. The reason why the seventh season of Orange Is the New Black became the most-watched show is that it is the final season.
The summer of 2019 belongs to Netflix
The first series that is on the top spot is the OITNB; the critically acclaimed Money Heist descends to number two position. Moreover, Stranger Things and Lucifer follow the next two places, i.e., No. 3 and No. 4. Given that Lucifer is no longer on the top of the list, the dedicated fans are still giving the series binge-watch. When Lucifer premieres its fourth season, the series broke the fair share of its records.
Lucifer was the most-watched Netflix Original when the fourth season premiered. It was the third season of Stranger Things which stole Lucifer’s crown. The Boys, an original series from Amazon’s streaming platform, Prime Video is currently on the seventh number position. Moreover, The Boys is creating a massive fan base gradually.
The seventh season of OITNB and its cast are delighted
According to TV Time, OITNB’s sixth season spent around three weeks on the no.1 spot in the summer of 2018. Later, the series spent six more weeks in the top-four position, according to the TV Time binge report.
Taylor Schilling, Kate Mulgrew, Uzo Aduba, Danielle Brooks, Dascha Polanco, Selenix Leyva, Taryn Manning are reprising their respective roles in the seventh season. The seventh season of Orange Is the New Black premiere on the 26th of July 2019.
