Messiah is a contemporary modern-day take on Christ figure who is being investigated by the CIA. The premise of the series is extremely strong; however, the only real question that none of the fans or critics is asking is the Messiah truly a Christ figure? By the looks of it, this is the reason as to why we need the second season of Messiah.

Whatever happens next will be quite an experience for the viewers as the story begins to unfold.
