Netflix October 2021: The best shows, movies and original series coming soon

Fall brings a bushel of movies and shows that are new on Netflix in October 2021. This month sees the debuts of even more Netflix original series, movies, comedy specials, documentaries and family programs for your streaming entertainment.

Choosing your next weekend binge is easy with all of these options that are new on Netflix, starting with the entire series of Seinfeld. All 180 episodes will be available starting October 1.

Tied to Halloween, there are a bunch of “Netflix and chills” offerings — spooky, creepy, scary titles — starting with You season 3, which brings back Joe Goldberg for more stalking/serial killing misadventures. Escape the Undertaker is an interactive haunted house special featuring WWE stars. And Locke and Key season 2 continues the demonic tale.

For those who aren’t into chills and thrills, the new on Netflix lineup also includes The Baby-Sitters Club season 2 and the reality series Roaring Twenties featuring a cast of young adults in Austin, Texas.
