Money Heist Season 5 Delayed?
Money Heist was planned in two parts, as in limited series. And it was broadcasted on a Spanish Network, Antena 3, as 15 episodes in 2017. Later, Netflix owned the global streaming rights of the series and released them as 22 shorter episodes. The first part was released on 20th December 2017, followed by the second part on 6th April 2018.
Due to the show’s popularity, Netflix renewed the series for another season and released the third part on 19 July 2019. Recently, on 3rd April 2020, Money Heist part 4 was released. In July 2020, Netflix announced the renewal of another season. They said that Money Heist Season 5 would be the fifth and final part of the series.
The Money Heist Season 5 release date is not confirmed officially. But, it was expected to be released in April 2021. However, according to a recent update, the release of Money Heist Season 5 is delayed. Fans of the shows are eagerly waiting for the release, but they have to wait.

Money Heist Season 5 Release Date
As mentioned, Money Heist Season 5, the final part of the series, was expected to be released in April 2021. But due to the global pandemic and upcoming COVID-19 threats, the filming and production have been delayed. Therefore, the release is postponed for some time.
Recently, a Money Heist crew member has tweeted that Season 5 will not be released anytime before September 2021. So, we can expect that the fifth part will be released by the end of this year if there is no further delay in filming and producing Money Heist Season 5.

Money Heist Season 5 Plot
The series shows the heists planned by the Professor, who recruits eight people to carry out his plan. The first heist involves escaping with €2.4 billion from the Royal Mint of Spain. The group takes 67 people as their hostage inside the Mint and plans to remain inside for 11 days to print the money to deal with elite police forces.

After the successful events, the group forcefully comes out of their hiding and finds themselves preparing for a second heist. This time they plan it on the Bank of Spain, as they again deal with hostages and police forces. Overall, the series subverts the heist genre by being told from a woman, Tokyo.
