It has been quite the year for George Russell, with the Formula One star scoring his first points for Williams Racing before being named as Lewis Hamilton’s new team-mate at Mercedes.
Russell’s rise to the championship contenders has been remarkable, helping Williams to rise from the back of the grid to scoring podiums.
The Englishman tends to keep his personal life quite private, but has been spotted at several Grand Prix this year with new girlfriend Carmen Montero.
He had previously dated the sister of fellow Mercedes academy driver and former Formula 2 rival Nyck de Vries, though that relationship ended around two years ago.
De Vries recently won the Formula E world championship for the Silver Arrows, and has been linked with a seat in F1 for next season.
He met De Vries’ sister Seychelle while racing in the F2 championship and they began dating around 2017.
But having split from her after more than two years together, Russell began dating Carmen Montero, with the couple even featured on one of Williams’ behind the scenes race weekend videos.
Unlike Seychelle de Vries, Montero does not have much of a link to the world of racing.

She now works at an investment firm in the UK, having graduated earlier this year.
While Russell remains a private person when it comes to his personal life, the couple have frequently been pictured on holiday together.
They most recently flew to Greece for a break with Russell’s current team-mate Nicholas Latifi and his partner.
Montero has also frequently attended races around the world in support of Russell, including at the Hungarian Grand Prix earlier this season when the Williams driver secured an eighth-place finish.
Russell currently lies 15th in the world championship standings, but it has been an impressive season for the 23-year-old.
He will next be in action later today for the Russian Grand Prix, as he seeks to end his time at Williams with a flourish.
