Manchester City are set to go head to head with Paris St-Germain and Borussia Dortmund for Real Sociedad ace Mikel Oyarzabal, according to reports.
Oyarzabal has been linked to the Premier League champions since he scored 68 goals and assisted 45 times in 245 games for Sociedad.
Pep Guardiola is known to have a wide range of talented attackers at the Etihad, so it is likely that they are still interested in acquiring the 24-year old winger.
However, Spanish outlet Fichajes are reporting that City could well face competition from PSG and Dortmund in the race for his signature next year.
Sociedad are said to be demanding £63million for their star man, which means City will likely have to offload one of their current stars before a move can become realistic.
City attempted to sign Oyarzabal in the past, but after La Liga turned down their offer, they moved on to Ferran Tores.

They are said to have continued monitoring him ever since, with Guardiola a fan of the player’s versatility in being able to operate on both flanks and in midfield.
Sociedad’s academy brought Oyarzabal to the club when he was 14. He made his debut in the team four years later.
City are unlikely to reignite their interest in January after forking out £100million to sign Jack Grealish from Aston Villa last summer.
Guardiola’s side has dropped five points in the first five games of the season. That could change if they don’t see improvement over the next three month.
They first slumped to a 1-0 defeat away at Tottenham on the opening day of the season, getting their title defence off to the worst possible start.
Guardiola’s men failed to defeat Southampton after three consecutive wins.
