Justice League Director Zack Snyder has shared a brand new take on Jared Leto’s Joker.
One of the biggest surprises to come out Zack Snyder’s Justice League was brand new footage of Jared Leto’s Joker. During the final moments of the movie during the Knightmare sequence, the scene showed Joker and Batman, along with the rest of the group working together to stop the now nefarious Superman. The scene was critically acclaimed for not only expanding Zack Snyder’s original plans for the DC Extended Universe, but also bringing new Joker footage to fans.
Jared Leto’s Clown Prince of Crime Originally Debuted in David Ayer’s suicide squad, with generally mixed reception. The biggest complaint that came out of the DC movie was that the Oscar-winning actor didn’t have much to do, a sentiment the star has updated countless times. It’s unclear if Leto will return as the Joker in future DCEU movies, but director Zack Snyder has cryptically shared a brand new take on the character on VERO. The new snap shows Joker rocking the same look from the end of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.
Zack Snyder’s cryptic message comes at a time when the Joker talk is feverish. There has been consistent speculation that Barry Keoghan will take on Robert Pattinson’s role the batter, although nothing has been confirmed yet.
Here’s the synopsis for Zack Snyder’s Justice League:
“In ZACK SNYDER’S JUSTICE LEAGUE, determined to ensure that Superman’s (Henry Cavill)’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) joins forces with Diana Prince (Gal Gadot) to plan a team of recruit metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task turns out to be more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own past to transcend what held them back, allowing them to come together and eventually form an unprecedented class of heroes. Now that they’re united, Batman (Affleck), Wonder Woman (Gadot), Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Cyborg (Ray Fisher), and The Flash (Ezra Miller) may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad, and Darkseid and their terrible intentions.”
The Snyder Cut stars Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Jeremy Irons, Diane Lane, Connie Nielsen, JK Simmons and Ciarán Hinds.
