Jhootha Kahin Ka Movie Review And Rating | Jimmy Sheirgill, Rishi Kapoor Akshay Varma, July 19, 2019 After a serious avatar in Mulk and a long absence from the silver screen due to illness, Rishi Kapoor is making his comeback to the big screen, this time in a different genre altogether in the latest Bollywood movie “Jhootha Kahin Ka”, which is being released today. The film is directed by Smeep Kang who is famous for his Punjabi comedy movies like Chak De Phatte (2008) and Lucky Di Unlucky Story (2013) while the production of the film is done by Deepak Mukut and Anuj Sharma under the production companies named Soham Rockstar Entertainment and Shantketan Entertainments. The story is written by Shreya Shrivastava and Vaibhav Suman and edited by Ashfaque Makrani. [table id=13 /] The film is a reunion for Omkar and Sunny both of whom had earlier worked together in the much-loved romantic comedy blockbuster series “Pyar ka Punchnama” directed by Luv Ranjan where they played the role of best buddies. The film also features strong star cast of many renowned character artists who appear to be doing full justice with their characters. From the trailer the film appears to be a comedy-drama and a family entertainer, depicting the story of two boys, Karan (Sunny) and Varun (Omkar), who go to Mauritius for their higher education, where their lifestyle has changed to such an extent that they have no yearnings to come back to their home in India. In Mauritius, Varun falls in love at first sight with a girl who denies leaving behind her home and her sick father. In order to persuade his love interest, Varun lies to her saying that his father has forever left him and is no more and so he would never ever have to return to India. What follows, turns out to be a rib-tickling roller-coaster ride. What happens when the truth unravels itself? Will the story be able to impress the audience? Are comedy scenes funny enough? Let’s find out. Review Of Jhootha Kahin Ka If you are a fan of Pyaar Ka Punchnama series, Total Dhamaal and similar kind of movies, then you will definitely enjoy Jhootha Kahin Ka. The film is full of comedy scenes and characters. The film revolves around the story of two best friends Varun and Karan who swap identities hoping to carry on with their romances without any hitch. Rishi Kapoor manages to keep you engaged in the film by making random appearances throughout the movie. And the comedy of errors worked quite good. However, the predictability of the movie makes it flat. The film is definitely not a must-watch. But if you’ve decided to watch it, then you must go ahead. If you have liked the trailer, you will like the movie. That’s all. My Rating: 2.5/5 Here is the trailer of the movie which you can check out before going to watch the movie.
