Jack Grealish and his girlfriend model Sasha Atwood are tipped to be the modern-day “Posh and Becks”.
Jack, 26, a midfielder for Manchester City who moved to the premiership club after a major deal this summer and who also plays for England recently agreed on a lucrative deal with boohooMAN.
Similarly, his other half Sasha, 23, has just landed a big contract with the online clothing shop and is set to become the face of the brand.
The young pair met at school in Birmingham and have been on and off since they were teenagers but reconciled ahead of the Euro 2020 tournament.
A source told The Sun: “Jack and Sasha are being jokingly called the new Posh and Becks by some of his mates because of their deals. They are really taking off.
“He is the man of the moment in football but he’s got plenty of female fans too, and with Sasha, those around them think they could become a new power couple.
“She normally lives out of the spotlight but this Boohoo deal will bring her to the fore.”
The source added: “It feels like a real coup for the company and it’s a smooth move for Jack and Sasha as a couple.”
And though some of his teammates have teased Jack about being a male model, the deal is said to be worth a lot of money.
David Beckham, 46, and his wife Victoria, 47, were the ultimate footballer and WAG combo in the 90s with their matching hair and outfits with Vic leading the glam squad in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
It was the height of “WAG-dom” with the player’s other halves going on crazy shopping sprees and demanding private jets to ferry them to and from matches.
Meanwhile, just two weeks ago, Jack celebrated his 26th birthday and he and Sasha hit the town together for a big night out.
They joined friends at The Ivy in Manchester as Sasha confirmed that their relationship was still on track.
The rumours had been brought up because Jack was seen leaving an event with former Love Islander Ellie Brown as well as liking pictures posted by Lillie Haynes.
