After seven years, director Priyadarshan is making a comeback to Bollywood cinema with his latest project, ‘Hungama 2’. He also stated that the movie will not be a direct sequel to the original ‘Hungama’ film that came in 2003 but that the movie will take on the hilarity that the title contains.

Hungama 2: OTT Platform Release
The comedy-drama movie project began at the beginning of 2020 and was slated for release on August 14, 2020. However, the widespread of the coronavirus caused production for ‘Hungama 2’ to be halted until the situation seemed to prove. As such, it has already been a year since the planned release date, and the situation is worse than before.
With many State Governments imposing lockdowns in hopes of controlling the virus spread, the production team of ‘Hungama 2’ has finally decided to release ‘Hungama 2’ on the popular Indian OTT Platform, Disney+ Hotstar.

For fans who have been awaiting the movie release since its title announcement, the good news is that the movie wrapped up its filming way back in February 2020 and has been undergoing post-processing ever since.
But unfortunately, due to the pandemic situation throughout India, the production team kept the movie release on hold until they finally realized that the best solution was to release the movie on an OTT Platform. Despite officially announcing that ‘Hungama 2’ will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar, there has been no official release date for the movie.
