An angry homeless man hurled a brick at an innocent restaurant worker and tackled him to the ground after he was asked to stop bothering people for money directly outside of the store entrance.
The suspect was reportedly aggressively asking for money at Pickle Guys, Lower East Side, New York.
After being asked to leave the restaurant, the suspect grabbed a chair from an outdoor area and began taunting the worker.
According to New York Post, the suspects then attacked the victim with their hand and slapped his face across. The NYPD released footage on Monday.
A struggle broke out on the street in broad daylight which ended with the worker being dramatically thrown to the ground, the video clip shows.
As the man approached, the worker was seen grasping onto a stick to defend himself.
The suspect then found a brick in his pocket and hurled it at the victim before he fled.
Paramedics were later called to the scene and the victim was taken to New York-Presbyterian Lower Manhattan Hospital to treat a cut on his nose and for bruising on his wrist.
