‘Hawkeye’ Star Jeremy Renner Has Revealed Reaction To ‘Black Widow’ After-Credits Ending.

hawk eye star Jeremy Renner has revealed his reaction to the after-credits ending on Scarlett Johansson’s latest Marvel movie, Black Widow.

After a delay of more than a year due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Black Widow was eventually released on Disney Plus and in theaters simultaneously. It was otherwise well received by critics, but gained more attention for Scarlett Johansson’s lawsuit against Disney over the film’s release. One element that made spectators drop their jaws, however, was the film’s ending after the credits.

The scene in question takes place sometime after the events of Avengers: Endgame. In the film, Black Widow sacrificed himself so that Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye could obtain the Soul Stone and remove all the damage Thanos had done during the events of Avengers: Infinity War. Black Widow’s adoptive sister, Yelena Belova, is seen at her grave before Valentina Allegra de Fontaine approaches her, signaling that the two are working together. She then reveals that her next target is none other than Hawkeye, whom she blames for the death of Black Widow.

While speaking with Variety, Jeremy Renner was asked about his reaction to the end of the film after the credits. The actor admitted he didn’t have much of a reaction to the scene because he was too busy laughing at his niece’s reaction:

“I was with my niece and [she’s] like ‘Uncle Jeremy, what have you done? I have done nothing! I had no reaction, I laughed at my niece.”
