The soundtrack had to feel different and unexpected, so, like the series itself, you could experience the world in a way you’ve never seen or heard before. I’ve tried to fuse a huge range of different sounds from around the world – from pulsing electronics to sampled recordings of water, ancient flutes to unusual singing, the sounds of wildlife with the rhythms of nature – to create a Create a unique sound palette that is as rich, visceral and immersive as the environments Will Smith encounters. I hope that, without even leaving home, this album can take the listener on their own adventure to some of the most amazing places on the planet. After A strange rock it was fantastic to work with Darren Aronofsky and the Nutopia team again to work with Welcome to Earth.” – Daniel Pemberton
