Hello, all the entertainment lovers, the performance of Kangana’s latest release Dhaakad didn’t go as it was meant to be. The film even got crashed at the box office due to the heavy lack of the audience. Dhaakad emerged as one of the biggest flops of the ongoing year even in the history of Bollywood. The controversial actor, however, tried to provide something out of the box but the audience didn’t give a favourable response to the innovative attempt. According to the latest box office reports issued by some significant trade, analysts claimed that the film sold only 20 tickets across the nation and collected a little amount of around 4 thousand. Some of the cinema-goers are surprised by such a low collection. There are only a handful of movies that crashed so badly even in their first week. It received scathing reviews, especially from the audience. As the film witnessed an incredibly indolent pace from the starting of its theatrical journey.

Well, as of now, the film has been discontinued by almost all the theatre owners. Some of the reports claimed that around 98% of theatres discontinued the film due to heavy loss. The film that started its theatrical run with 2100 screens it got reduced by 300 screens. Some the people and fans of the actress are now waiting for the digital release of the film. However, we have learned that the makers of the film failed to crack the deal of its digital premiere with a prominent OTT platform. The maker of the film hasn’t announced the OTT release of the film.

The scenes of the film were used by netizens for making memes for their social media page. In addition to this, the previous film of the actress titled ‘Thalaivii’ a biographical drama based on the life of Indian actress turned politician J.Hayalalithaa, a bilingual film released in Tamil and Hindi in the closing year was also failed to achieve success. The film collected ₹10 crores against a production budget of ₹100 crores.

While moving back to Dhaakad it is even running behind the actress’s last flop as it only fetched ₹3.77 crores against a production budget of ₹100 crores. Enhanced by Razneesh Ghai and financed by Deepak Mukut and Sohel Maklai under the production banner of Sohum Rockstar Entertainment.
