The much-awaited movie of Vijay Deverkonda was finally released on Friday. The film opened to a mixed talk from the audience. Some people found the film slow and boring while some loved every part of it.
Written and directed by debutant Bharat Kamma, the film collected 7.65 crores on the first day in the Telugu states. This is a great opening considering the weekend ahead and the number of the screens it’s releasing in.
Dear Comrade Two Days / Day 2 Box Office Collections
However, the number dropped on the second day. This is purely due to lack of mass elements which disappointed the audience from B and C centers. The mixed talk from the normal audience has also affected the film.
Here’s how the number fared out in two days (Friday and Saturday) in Telugu states:
- Nizam 4.56 Cr
- Ceeded 1.28 Cr
- Nellore 0.36 Cr
- Guntur 0.80 Cr
- Krishna 0.55 Cr
- West 0.67 Cr
- East 1.07 Cr
- UA 1.26 Cr
Total 2 Days AP & TS Share: 10.55Crs
Apart from the Telugu States, the film is also doing well in other states and overseas. The film received a positive response from Kerala and Tamil Nadu. In the US, the film already crossed the half a million mark. So things are good as of now for the makers of Dear Comrade.
Though the numbers dropped on Saturday, you can expect an increase in the collections on Sunday. Hope it does well on Sunday and in the coming week. Good luck to the team Dear Comrade.
