Dead to me is an American dark comedy series released on 3rd May 2019. Netflix has owned the series initially. The series has been massively loved by audiences across the ages and has already had two seasons. But the news of the third season has come up with a bittersweet response as the makers have announced the third season to be the series finale.

The plot of the story revolves around two women Jen and Judy, who end up becoming friends. Jen has lost her husband in a hit and run incident. This incident has a significant impact on her mental health, and to fight the grief left behind, she does yoga, therapy, and exercises. She is also a member of a grief support group where she meets Judy, who also mourns her fiance’s death due to a heart attack. But the reality is something else. Later the plot reveals that Judy is the hit and run driver who killed Jen’s husband. The whole series is weaved around the entire incident and the struggles.

Christina Applegate has played the character of Jen, Linda Cardellini as Judy Hale, Luke Roessler can be seen playing Henry Harding, Jen’s younger son. Apart from these casts, the series follows a massive lineup of talented actors lineup varying from supporting to guest appearances.

Liz Feldman has created the series. The score has been taken care of by Adam Blau. The Cinematography has been helmed by two amazing lens artists Danny Moder (season 1) and Toby Oliver (season 2).

The series has a ritual of releasing new seasons in May. Following the series’s trade may suggest that the 3rd season which is supposed to be the last, can be expected to release in May. If not that it may also be shelved for a release in late 2021 or early 2022. For now, there has not been any prior announcement by the makers.
