COVID-19: Sooryavanshi Movie Release date postponed due to Coronavirus outbreak

“Sooryavanshi”, an upcoming Indian Hindi-language action film directed by Rohit Shetty, written by Yunus Sajawal and produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Aruna Bhatia, Apoorva Mehta and Rohit Shetty, was expected to hit the big screens on Tuesday, 24th of March 2020.

However, the release of the film has been postponed because of the coronavirus outbreak, keeping in mind the safety and health concerns of the audience. The new release date of the film Sooryavanshi is yet to be announced.

The above news has been confirmed by the director Rohit Shetty on his social media account.

Sooryavanshi is the fourth installment of Shetty’s cop drama, featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The film co-stars Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Jackie Shroff, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Vivan Bhatena, while Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh reprise their roles of Singham and Simmba from the franchise’s previous films.
