Black Clover Season 5 Release Date, Premise and Crew

All the weeaboos brace yourselves; the fantasy thriller which left you spellbound is about to be back with a season 5. The fourth season ended on March 30, 2021, and since then, the fans have been craving this anime series. 

The drama has been well-received thanks to the spectacular plot, the credit of which goes to the manga series from which it has been adapted. The writing is magical, and the writer who made it possible is Yuki Tabata. He did an excellent job writing as well as illustrating the manga.

Black Clover season 1 aired on October 3, 2017, and has been popular with the people ever since. The surprising fact is that it brought a new audience apart from the manga lovers that have always loved it. The fourth season premiered on December 8, 2020, and had eight episodes.

Premise:

The show is premised around a lad, Asta, who is devoid of magical powers. With whatever knowledge he has and the world he lives he decides to become the Wizard King.

Season 4 concluded with the devil inside Asta taking form, who Lichita adopts, a generous woman, and names him Liebe. She loses her life while trying to protect him, and on further revelations, we come across the fact that she is Asta’s biological mother.

Release Date:

In February 2021, it was announced that 30th March 2021 would be the final episode date for the fourth season. Undoubtedly, it was breathtaking, leaving us with a series of questions and curiosities.

To quench the thirst of fans for the revelations, it might be a possibility that Black Clover will be back with a season 5, which might air in late 2021 or early 2022. The Portal Monsters and Critics have speculated about the renewal of the fifth season in mid-2022 or later part of it.

Crew:

The show has been produced under the banner of Studio Pierro. However, in the fourth season, Ayataka Tanemura directed the episodes of the series, replacing Tatsuya Yoshihara. Other major replacements included that of Kazuyuki Fudeyasu by Kanichi Katou as the screenplay writer for the show.
